Animation Demo Reel - 2020

3D Work

I started this personal project at a time when I was beginning to understand the true and absurd nature of American politics and how it's dominated by corporate interests like the fossil fuel industry. Two years later, here it is!

My graduating film at Ringling College of Art and Design, based off of a comic I made two years prior. You can find the comic here on my website.

Something fun I made a while back as part of an interview test.

An exercise to see how far I can push a rig that I built by making it go through completely exaggerated movements.

An exercise in using silhouette to convey thoughts/emotion. The planes are on cards so as to avoid complicated modeling. Rig provided by Michael Trikosko.

My first attempt at modeling, rigging, and animating a human character with blendshapes for the facial expressions.

2D Work

A 2D-3D comedy which highlights the absurdity that sometimes occurs in discussing how we can be more sustainable.

A project I directed in the last month of my school year at Ringling College of Art + Design in the hope of promoting awareness of our fossil fuel use.

My attempt at going for a more stylistic and cartoony look than I had done before while also playing with the audience’s expectations of a subtitled film.

A proof-of-concept for school where I proved that my thesis film, Down, would be within scope. Rig provided by Elise Fedoroff.
